Hello and welcome to Trust!

Our video testimonial platform is feature-rich, so I've prepared a beginner's guide for you. Every step includes links to other, more in-depth guides on the specific topic.

Step 1. Create a new workspace and connect your business website with Trust

A workspace is a repository for all your testimonials and reviews linked to a specific business.

To create a new workspace, you must give it a name (e.g., Hubspot) and add the full URL of the website associated with your business (e.g., https://www.hubspot.com/).

Each workspace registered in Trust gets a unique website code.

You need to add this code to your business website(s) - similar to the Facebook Pixel or Google Analytics Tracking Code - in order to display testimonials, reviews, and forms there.

Depending on the website builder you're using, the website code must be installed on every page where you want testimonials and reviews to appear.

❗️If you have multiple, separate businesses for which you wish to collect testimonials (e.g., Hubspot and Starbucks), you must create a dedicated workspace for each of them.

Step 2. Add your existing text and video testimonials to Trust (as well as video reviews from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram or Vimeo)

Step 3. Import your reviews from 7 external platforms

Trust offers an easy way to import your reviews from the following sites and display them on your website later on:

  • Facebook

  • Google

  • Trustpilot

  • ProvenExpert

  • Capterra

  • Product Hunt

  • Yelp

Step 4. Create online forms to start collecting new testimonials

A form is a dedicated landing page that allows people to share text or video feedback about your business, without the need for a login.

These forms can be shared either via a direct link or embedded directly on your website.

Step 5. Display testimonials and reviews on your website

Trust offers the following trust-building elements for your website:

  1. Widgets. These display testimonials and external reviews as an integral part of your website page.

  2. Pop-ups. These eye-catching and dynamic pop-up notifications are designed to grab the attention of your website visitors.

  3. Floating Stars. This small icon, located at either the bottom right or left corner of a web page, displays your aggregate customer rating. Upon clicking, it shows all customer reviews and filters them according to the source.

  4. Badge. It displays your overall customer rating, allowing you to showcase your tried-and-tested reputation.

Step 6. Show your overall customer rating in Google search results

Trust has a built-in Rich Snippet tool that displays your overall customer rating in Google search results and helps your website get found easier and attract more potential customers.
